Buckle down to work: Senate President Francis “Chiz” G. Escudero on Thursday, May 15, 2025, said members of the 19th Congress will buckle down to work when session resumes on June 2 after a long election campaign recess that started in February. During the Kapihan sa Senado this morning, Escudero said in two weeks, the Senate will prioritize the passing of important legislative measures such as the Mining Act, the Rightsizing Bill, the Judiciary Fiscal Independence Bill, the Right-of-Way Bill, and the anti-POGO bill.
